SHIPPING
INFO: All equipment orders include
FREE SHIPPING to direct points within 48-contiguous
states.
A surcharge
will apply to rural areas, which are determined by the freight
company, based
on complex criteria including population density and transportation
lane accessibility and the size of cities and towns and their
functional accessibility to major highways and shipping lanes.
Transportation and shipping to these remote and rural locations
are usually non-direct shipping points with higher associated

addition, the commercial trucking
companies used to deliver the lifts levy a $40 charge for
residential delivery . You can avoid that charge if
you pick the lift up at the terminal nearest to you and we
will provide you with that information. The
reason for this charge is that the equipment has to be transferred
from a 48 foot trailer to a "pup" truck in order
to access residential neighborhoods.
You’ll need to call us for rates to Alaksa, Hawaii and
outside the US. (800) 346-5331. Freight is delivered by common
carrier to tailgate of truck. It
is the customer’s responsibility to take the freight
off the truck. If you’ve got (or can
hire) a tow truck or a tilt bed, you’re home free! You
can also pick the equipment up at your local terminal and
they’ll put it in your car trailer. (see photo above)
If neither of those options are possible, we can inquire whether
lift-gate service ($135) is available in your area. Liftgate
delivery is not possible for many of the lifts because they
are just too long. You really need to consider one of the
other options above. HMI (The Auto Lift Shop) will take no
responsibility for additional charges of any kind that may
incur, related to, or involved with, the renting or acquisition
of equipment of any kind necessary to unload items off of
a delivering carrier’s truck.

DAMAGED SHIPMENTS:
For your own protection, inspect shipments before signing
the freight bill. If a shipment is damaged, note damage on the
freight bill and file a claim with the carrier immediately.
RETURNED
MERCHANDISE:
Returned merchandise requires authorization. Contact us first
for shipping instructions and to obtain a return authorization
number. Credit will not be issued unless authorization to
return merchandise has been received. Any charges that may
be incurred due to damaged merchandise will be deducted from
credits owed. A 20% restocking fee will be charged for all
returned merchandise. Equipment is inspected prior to shipment
therefore Bend-Pak / Ranger nor HMI are responsible for damaged
equipment. File a claim with the carrier immediately.
Delivery time is approx. 10—14 days.
INSTALLATION:
All lifts come with detailed installation instructions, all
bolts and shims. Customer need only supply hydraulic fluid
(available at most auto parts stores). Most of the two-post
lifts and some of the 4 post lifts can be self-installed.
If you require installation, we can provide you with the name
of someone local. We do not set installation prices and you
will deal with and pay the installer directly. Installation
costs generally begin at about $350, but will vary
greatly depending on what lift you purchase and where you
live.
FLOOR & CEILING REQUIREMENTS:
The 7000#, 9000# and 10,000# lifts require a 4"
minimum, 3000psi, concrete floor. This is pretty much a standard
pour. The 12,000# plus lifts require a 6" floor. The
psi is important as that will determine the strength of your
floor.
While some of the lifts will fit in a 10
foot ceiling building, you may not get the full lifting height
from the lift, depending on how high the vehicles are that
you will be lifting. A 12' 3" ceiling will give you the
room to get maximum lift.

LEASE APPLICATION
PAYMENT:
Equipment must be pre-paid in full before it is shipped. Sorry,
NO COD SHIPMENTS. We accept Discover Card, Master Card , American
Express, VISA , Debit Cards as well as personal and company
checks. We can do a “check by phone” if you provide
us with your bank and account info.
ORDERING INFO:
You can order any of the products on this site by calling
us at: 800.346.5331. You can also fax your
order to us at 607.498.6197. We’ll
take your credit card number or if you wish we can take your
checking account info and we can process your check electronically.
Your order will be placed immediately and once it is “on
the road” we will call you with a tracking number (a
PRO#) and an estimated delivery date. We’ll also give
you the phone number of the trucking company so that you can
coordinate delivery with them. (REMEMBER!!
It is your responsibility to take the freight off the back
of the truck.) Delivery
time is usually 10—14 days.
WARRANTY:
Generally all lifts are warranteed for 1—5 years—the
first year includes labor. The power units are warranteed
for one year.
